Tennis in No Time
There are ‘Tennis in No Time’ (TNT) classes to join every weekday (Tuesday to Saturday) which will teach you the fundamentals – forehand, backhand, serve, volley & positioning for doubles. Come to as many classes as you can so by the end of the six weeks you’ll be enjoying tennis with a whole group of new friends at your level!
As a member you can book the courts at no further costs. Indoor at Wallace Park and outdoors at Wallace High School, to practice what you’ve learned.
How it works
The free classes, for beginners and recreational players, all have this blue “TNT – Tennis in No Time” picture beside them in the events section of the “Play More Tennis” app, which can be obtained from https://app.playmoretennis.com
Simply click the ‘Attend’ button beside the class to reserve your spot at times that suits you.
There are classes most days of the week, for six weeks, with a maximum of eight in each class.
Dates - Monday 16 September to Saturday 26 October
Times -
Mondays, 12.30pm-2pm
Tuesdays, 5.30pm-7pm
Wednesdays 11.30am-1pm
Thursdays, 5.30pm-7pm
Fridays, 11am-12.30pm
Saturdays, 12.30am-2pm
All classes take place at Wallace Park Indoor Tennis Centre.
Classes may be added or taken away if demand is more or less than anticipated.

Half Price Coaching for Members
Once you completed the TNT programme we have ‘Drop-In’ classes at half price for ALL MEMBERS. These classes cover more advanced skills such as second serve, smash, drop shots etc.
They are also ideal for members who have completed ‘Tennis in No Time.’ They cost £12 for non-members, or £6 for members for a ninety-minute class.
These classes have this pink ‘Half Price Coaching for members’ picture beside them in the ‘Play More Tennis’ App. They are a great way for players progressing from TNT to meet other members at their level.
